Thai Food and Doctor Who...

Had a fun day just staying inside and watching a marathon of Doctor Who. Later we had Thai food for dinner. It was Matthew's first time trying it.

First we had to go out to get the food. Going out into the cold was not a fun idea for someone we all know and love. Notice his cute little hat!

I looove snow but I would have to agree with him on this one night. We got out to the car and couldn't get out of the spot it was parked in because of the ice and snow...so...we had to call and see if they would deliver it...and...THEY DID!!! HOORAY!!!

Now I enjoy the fact that we both like (and are open) to trying new things. Sometimes we find new things we like and sometimes we don't and this time it was more of the second one for Matthew. At least we now know. However...as a former fat kid I will always have a special place in my heart for this yummy dish.

The Great Blizzard of 2011: The day after...

The News reports say that this was going to be one of the biggest snow storms that St.Louis has seen in a long time. However...I say that everyone is making mountains out of mothballs. ;)
I did take the time to get some lovely snow shots...plus some fun in the snow shots. Hope you enjoy!

Here  is one of Matthew trying to get into the car but the driver side door was frozen shut so he had to get in through the back seat.

Needless to say something had to be done to make his frown turn upside down. I love the snow and winter so I knew just what to do to make everything better...Kisses.

 

Later on after getting the car all cleared off and going to the store we got down to work making dinner. We had Mom and Tom over for dinner for the first time. Matthew made his Nana's Pot Roast and it was great. Everyone enjoyed the food and the company. Best of all was watching Matthew cook.

 

All in all a lovely day!
